Replace plastic sponges and brushes

Crafted with a long bamboo handle and a replaceable brush head, the Uncommon Long Handle Dish Brush is a natural brush that helps you to clean every nook and cranny with ease.

The bristles are made of strong but non-abrasive sisal, allowing you to scrub effectively without scratching the dishes. Measures 24.5 x 6.5 x 4 cm.

Benefits

  • Safer & more hygienic: Crafted from all-natural materials with inherent anti-microbial properties.
  • Durable: Lasts longer than traditional plastic sponges and brushes.
  • Eco-friendly: Made of renewable plant sources. Biodegradable and compostable at the end of its life.
  • Multi-purpose: Ideal for washing dishes, pot and pans, as well as cleaning vegetables, counters, sinks etc.

Care Instructions

  • After each use: Rinse thoroughly and ensure food particles are removed. Shake out excess water/blot on towel and hang to air dry.
  • To disinfect: Mix equal parts vinegar and water together in a bucket, bowl or sink. Soak bristles in the vinegar solution for 5 minutes to an hour, then rinse with hot water. It is recommended to disinfect your brushes weekly.
  • Avoid soaking handle in water for long periods to prolong its lifespan.
  • Replace dish brushes every 3 to 6 months, depending on usage.

Note: Traditional plastic sponges should be disinfected on a daily basis and replaced every 1-2 weeks, as they tend to harbor a significant amount of bacteria.

“Great quality, looks good”

Only downside is if you’re not careful it can collapse while you close it, so watch for spillage — but that’s the trade for how compact it packs. Quality is great, recommend!

“Easy to store in bag”

Good for sustainability. And very easy to store in bag as it is collapsible :)

“Save the earth”

I love the collapsible lunch boxes which are easy to wash after use! Wish there would be more colours available in the future.

Frequently asked

Your questions, answered.

The long handle makes it easy to clean plates, bowls, pots and deeper cookware while keeping your hands away from greasy water. Its sisal bristles are firm enough for everyday cleaning without being overly abrasive.

Yes. It is made with a bamboo handle and natural plant bristles, with no plastic components.

Rinse thoroughly after each use and remove any trapped food particles. Shake off excess water, blot against a towel and leave it to air-dry fully. Avoid soaking the bamboo handle.

Replace it approximately every three to six months, depending on use, or sooner if the bristles become worn, misshapen or develop a persistent odour.

The natural bristles are suitable for non-stick cookware and will not cause scratches.
