We've all been there - having a therapeutic time baking for your loved ones, only to remember the impossible baking trays you're going to be stuck scrubbing after.

Welcome Paco in your life. This food-grade silicone mat can be placed over trays for whatever you're whipping up, be it roasting vegetables or baking cookies. It can replace traditional baking paper to be used over and over again, and is easy to wash without the need for any elbow grease.

The chic, neutral colour choices are also fetching enough to be used as placemats on your dining table.

Details

  • Paco Silicone Baking Mat measures 40 x 30 cm
  • Able to withstand temperature up to 230°C
  • Grey and Coral do not come with anti-slip base and are ideal for baking and roasting
  • Sage comes with anti-slip base and is ideal for kneading and as a placemat.

Instructions for use

  • Do not use any sharp objects with your silicone mat.
  • To remove stains and odours, first wash your silicone mat with grease-fighting dishwashing liquid and rinse off with hot water. Then, sprinkle baking soda on your mat generously, followed by lemon juice or vinegar. Use anon-abrasive sponge to mix both items to form a paste and scrub the mat, concentrating mostly on the tough stains. Let the paste sit for 20 minutes, then rinse with hot water.

“Great quality, looks good”

Only downside is if you’re not careful it can collapse while you close it, so watch for spillage — but that’s the trade for how compact it packs. Quality is great, recommend!

“Easy to store in bag”

Good for sustainability. And very easy to store in bag as it is collapsible :)

“Save the earth”

I love the collapsible lunch boxes which are easy to wash after use! Wish there would be more colours available in the future.
