Microwave Instructions
Unlike most stainless steel containers, Bijou is designed with smooth, rounded edges that help prevent electrical arcing, making it suitable for microwave use when used correctly. It has also been tested and certified by SGS for microwave safety.
- Remove lid before microwaving. Lid is not microwave safe.
- Do not microwave empty container.
- Place container in the centre of the microwave turntable. Avoid contact with the microwave walls, door, or other metal objects.
- Heat at 800 to 1000W, in short intervals of 1 to 2 minutes, stirring food in between.
- Container may become hot during use. Handle with care.
- Do not use if container is dented or damaged.
- Every microwave differs, use with caution. For best results, use with a modern microwave in good working condition.
Instructions for use
- After removing Bijou from the freezer, leave it at room temperature for 1 to 2 minutes before opening it.
- Always align lid on base before snapping clasps shut.
- Do not use abrasive scrubbers on the base exterior to preserve finish.
- Hand wash lid to preserve longevity.
