Remove the lid before microwaving. Place the container in the centre of the turntable without touching microwave walls or other metal. Heat food at 800 to 1000W in 1 to 2 minute intervals, stirring between intervals. Allow frozen containers to stand for 1 to 2 minutes before opening. Hand wash the lid and avoid abrasive scrubbers on the coloured exterior.

Microwave Instructions
Unlike most stainless steel containers, Bijou is designed with smooth, rounded edges that help prevent electrical arcing, making it suitable for microwave use when used correctly. It has also been tested and certified by SGS for microwave safety.
- Remove lid before microwaving. Lid is not microwave safe.
- Do not microwave empty container.
- Place container in the centre of the microwave turntable. Avoid contact with the microwave walls, door, or other metal objects.
- Heat at 800 to 1000W, in short intervals of 1 to 2 minutes, stirring food in between.
- Container may become hot during use. Handle with care.
- Do not use if container is dented or damaged.
- Every microwave differs, use with caution. For best results, use with a modern microwave in good working condition.
Instructions for use
- After removing Bijou from the freezer, leave it at room temperature for 1 to 2 minutes before opening it.
- Always align lid on base before snapping clasps shut.
- Do not use abrasive scrubbers on the base exterior to preserve finish.
- Hand wash lid to preserve longevity.

No. Bijou is not designed for oven use. Its stainless steel body is suitable for microwave reheating according to the provided instructions, but the lid must always be removed first.
Cooling can create a vacuum effect that pulls the lid firmly against the silicone seal. Let the container rest at room temperature for a few minutes, then release all four clips and gently lift one corner of the seal to let air enter.
